October Events You Can’t Miss in Orlando
October is the month that Orlandoans go outside again. The air is a tad bit cooler and every single event worth going to seems to happen in a matter of 31 days. Get your calendar out, grab a cup of cold brew, and get ready to take notes because you won’t want to miss these events. You’ll likely see me at all of them.
‘CITY unseen’: A New [AR]t Experience

This is one of my favorite festivals in Winter Park. Food and sidewalk art make a beautiful combination.

IMMERSE 2019 by Creative City Project
If you’ve never been to IMMERSE, it’s a little hard to put the experience into words. Expect 1,000 artists from more than 100 organizations like the Blue Man Group, hundreds of installations and performances, music, food, and an overwhelming sense of joy. Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando is shut down for two nights so that we can have evenings we’ll likely never forget.
Things to look out for:
The Dinner Party Project Dinner: You won’t miss a beat with this four-course street dinner located right in the middle of the action.
The return of the World of Corkcicle, an immersive photo experience. Enjoy insta-worthy installations inside eight shipping containers.
Hawkers Asian Street Fare will be serving up its crazy-good bites at IMMERSE, as well.
Be sure to visit the Print a Photo Installation by David Lawrence at Discover Orlando.
