7 Spots to Relax and Recharge in Orlando

Hi, fam! These days, I’ll go to great lengths to maintain peace and balance in my life. I have found that there’s value in self-care. I invite you to explore this quick gallery of local places to visit.

A Handful of Major’s Wellness Picks

YogaMix Orlando (Downtown Orlando) - This studio offers a fresh take on the yoga experience. Natural light and Top 40 hits normally fill the airwaves, and the owner is amazing. If you’re a first-timer, you can lock in a month for $30! Stop in and say hi to Gina! (Photo Credit: YogaMix Orlando)

New General (Winter Park) - OMG. New General is the best. Think coffee shop meets housewares and all things linen apparel, so basically a general store. Ha! It’s an amazing place to relax with friends over an iced turmeric latté. Tons of vegan options are available here. (Photo Credit: Sydney Marie Photography)

Naked Bar Soap Co. (College Park) - Natasha Byrd-Gaylon and Jennifer Peets whipped up this amazing shop in College Park and it has all of your natural care needs. Handmade deodorants, oils, oatmeal soaps, and more! Feed your body with their goods. (Photo Credit: Naked Bar Soap Co.)

Palmer’s Garden & Goods (Audubon Park) - Plants galore! You’ll find yourself in an oasis with every step you take. I happen to love the indoor area with the house plants. They have something to fit every budget. (Photo Credit: Palmer’s Garden & Goods)

The Spa Orlando (College Park) - This locally-owned College Park spa is a gem. Enjoy the perks of various monthly memberships including nails, massage, and waxing. Expect endless tea and wine, if you’re a sipper, and explore the jacuzzi in the back. It’s all included. (Photo Credit: The Spa Orlando)

Heal. (Altamonte Springs) - Head over to Altamonte Springs and check out the relaxation and therapy offerings. This place is known to do wonders for the mind and body. (Photo Credit: Heal.)

Infusion Orlando (College Park) - This tea house and restaurant happens to be right next door to Naked Bar Soap Co., so stop by both. I love perusing around the gift section and sipping on an iced Carpe Diem tea with soy milk. It’s one of the few places that I love to work and shop! (Photo Credit: Infusion Tea)
